Just a quick update for all those who follow…

Two days ago we went on crisis care.  Which means we have a 24 hour hospice nurse and we are monitoring Duane constantly.  He is still at home, surrounded by love.

I am learning all about injections, sub q ports and catheters!  I have learned enough so that we are now able to be nurse free for some shifts.  He is very comfortable with me giving him his injections and moving him very slowly.  He still loves Buddy kisses and he seems very comfortable and at peace.

Thank you all for you love and support.

– xoxo Victoria

  1. God bless you all. My husband is terminally ill with Multiple Myeloma (Blood and Bone Cancer) he is still able to do many things he likes but I know there will come a day when I will have to be at his side 24/7 and you have helped me ready myself for the possibility of home hospice and home care for my sweetie. Thank you.
